Yamagata Nishiokitama Hakucho Town Soil Storehouse

売り手 古民家バンク

The exterior walls of the storehouse were coated with plaster over the existing earthen walls 35 years ago. The waist area features bean mortar washing with left official finish. The roof structure is characterized by a double roof on a placed roof. The second floor features large pine beams: one red pine beam measuring 240×360mm. The 8-sun by 1-shaku 2-sun red pine with vertical wood creates an impressive arched ceiling.

Whether used as a residence or shop, by adding slit windows or skylights and creating an open ceiling connecting the second floor to the first floor, it could be transformed into an attractive space.

※Available until April 2025 (may be available for dismantling during 2024)
