【Product Description】
These lacquered chopsticks feature a design of six gourds, known in Japan as "rokubyo" (六瓢). This motif is considered auspicious, symbolizing wishes for good health, long life, and protection from illness.

The rich red lacquer and gold leaf accents bring a touch of elegance to your dining table. The gourd pattern, depicted in a lively, dance-like manner, has a modern, textile-like design. These chopsticks combine the tradition of Echizen lacquerware with a contemporary twist, making them perfect for modern living.

The hexagonal shape of the chopsticks makes them easy to grip and prevents slipping. Echizen chopsticks are crafted without any chemical coatings; artisans hand-apply lacquer to each piece.
